Side Story: PNP Agusan Sur join the SWAT Training
45 trainees joined the Special Weapons and Armed Tactics (SWAT) training that was started last April 8.
The Provincial Police Office (PPO) of Agusan del Sur facilitated the said training with the sponsorship of LGU Bayugan City thru Mayor Kim Lope Asis and the support of the Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur through Governor Adolph Edward G. Plaza.
According to Police Inspector David Mondero III, the participants came from the City of Bayugan, municipality of San Francisco and the Provincial Public Safety Company.
Police Inspector Mondero added that this batch will be the first SWAT team of the province and the trainers of this training came from the Counter Terrorism Unit of 1st Battalion of PNP Special Action Force.
Side Story:
I thought that I couldn't do the interview because according to someone that we asked first, we need a clearance. But fortunately, my friend/Assistant News Director contacted the PIO of the PPO and gave us the clearance to get some video footage and conduct interview.
I felt dizzy at that time because I didn't have enough sleep and I was operating the TV station at that time.
But despite of tiring activities that time, I felt fulfilled that I accomplished many things.
